Did you ever have the feeling that you needed a specific baduk-problem, or position, or you wer looking for material to use in a lesson ? Or you were just looking for some game reviews ?
More often than not you ended up making the material yourself, whereas most likely someone else had already done almost the same...
The larger the library grows, the more students and teachers can benefit from the offered material.
With our library we aim to make a large repository for all baduk study related matarial for anyone to browse through and download. Our Library is expanded continuously. Of course we add material ourselves too, and we are continuously on the lookout for good study related material, but mainly the Library is filled by our students. The larger the library grows, the more students and teachers can benefit from the offered material.
How can I contribute ?
Any useful (digital) baduk related material you may have can be uploaded to our Library. To add a bonus, you can set a price for the matarial in question. Every time one of our Students downloads your material you will get the set price (minus our 10% handling fee) Items can be downloaded indefinitely so once uploaded both you and all our students can benefit from your contribution. The larger the Library grows the more succesful and useful it will be.
Is my material in the right format ?
In principle you can offer any material that can be of use in studying or teaching baduk. We aim to generally expand our Library facilities to cover more diverse areas, but at the moment we accept the following kinds of material:
| Kind | Format | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Game review | sgf, pdf | A Game review by you or under your copyright |
| Game record | sgf, pdf | A Game record by you or not protected by copyright |
| Lesson/Instruction material | sgf, pdf, zip | Lessons on some topic, general study material |
| Collection of games, reviews | sgf, pdf, zip | Any collection of material |
Please note that you must have copyright of any material you offer, or the material must be free of copyright. The baduk-school will not be liable for any copyright violations. The preferred format is pdf or sgf, but other standard formats (word, txt etc) are allowed. However we strongly advise use of pdf for any text-based media. We can always convert your material to pdf if you so desire. In that case, just mail it to us.
What if my material is not in the right format ?
